With utter disregard for categorization for genres, New York based DJ Liquid LSD recently dropped the “Miami LSD” mix. Opening with Afrojack’s “Play House”, the mix quickly crosses over into 3-way hard-house and industrial mashups, before segueing into dubstep then drum and bass. Featuring original artists ranging from Justice, Pendulum, KMFDM, Major Lazer, and Infected Mushroom, this is truly an interesting an unique mix worthy of a listen.
DJ Flood is a DJ and producer from north west London. According to his SoundCloud profile, his older brother introduced him to techno, acid, and old skool when he was 8 years old. Then in 1998 at age 17 he learned how to mix UK garage, and began building his record collection. Today, Flood is a prolific drum and bass DJ and has amassed tens of thousands of plays on his SoundCloud page. Flood is also one of the founders of Oneblood Promotions. This mix, featuring liquid funk, jump up, and hard, dirty basslines, titled Spectrum, was released in September 2010.
